General

ChatNexus is an AI assistant builder that lets you create smart assistants trained on your own knowledge base. You can upload documents, paste text, or link URLs to give your assistant specific knowledge, then embed it on your website or share it with customers. It also includes built-in appointment scheduling. It is operated by CHISTY DIGITAL FORGE, a sole trader based in Sydney, NSW, Australia.
ChatNexus is built for individuals, small businesses, and teams that want to deploy AI-powered customer support, internal knowledge assistants, or specialised chatbots - without writing code. If you have information you want users to access through a conversational interface, ChatNexus is for you.
No technical skills are required. Creating and publishing an agent takes just a few minutes - you define the persona, upload your knowledge content, and your agent is ready. Embedding it on a website only requires pasting a single script tag.

Agents & Knowledge Base

You can add plain text, PDF documents, URLs (web pages), and Google Docs. The platform processes and indexes your content so the agent can retrieve relevant information when answering questions.
ChatNexus uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Your content is split into small chunks and stored as vector embeddings. When a user asks a question, the most relevant chunks are retrieved and passed to the AI model as context, so the agent answers based on your specific knowledge rather than general training data alone.
Yes. You can set a custom name, avatar, welcome message, and accent colour. You can also write a system prompt to define the agent's persona, tone, and behaviour. The embeddable chat widget inherits these customisations automatically.
From your agent's settings page, copy the provided embed snippet and paste it before the closing </body> tag of your HTML. The chat widget will appear automatically on your site. You can also share the public chat link directly with users.
ChatNexus supports multiple LLM providers including OpenAI (GPT-4o, GPT-4o mini), Groq (Llama 3, Mixtral), Google Gemini, and xAI (Grok). The available models depend on your subscription plan. You can select a preferred model per agent.

Pricing & Billing

Yes. ChatNexus offers a free tier that lets you create and test an agent with a limited number of messages per month. It is a great way to explore the platform before committing to a paid plan. Visit the Pricing page for full details.
Paid plans are billed monthly. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. You will be charged on the same day each month, and you can cancel at any time from your billing settings - your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from the Billing section of your account. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details. In general, unused portions of a monthly subscription are non-refundable, but we consider requests on a case-by-case basis.

Privacy & Data

ChatNexus is hosted on Render (infrastructure) and Neon (database), with data primarily stored in the United States. We process data in accordance with Australian privacy law and, where applicable, the GDPR. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
No. ChatNexus does not use your knowledge base content or conversation data to train AI models. Your content is only used to answer questions within your own agents. Third-party LLM providers (such as OpenAI and Groq) have their own data-use policies, which we link to in our Privacy Policy.
Yes. You can delete your account from the Settings page. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, agents, knowledge base content, and conversation history. Some data may be retained for legal or billing record-keeping purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.
Yes. A standard Data Processing Agreement is available for customers who require one for GDPR or other regulatory compliance. You can access and download it from the DPA page.

Account & Support

On the login page, click "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. You will receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive.
Email us at support@chatnexus.cloud. We aim to respond within one business day (AEST).
You may not upload sensitive personal information such as health records, financial credentials, passport details, or privileged legal communications. You also may not use ChatNexus for illegal activities, generating harmful content, or circumventing AI safety measures. Full details are in our Terms of Service.
