Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds may be issued for ChatNexus subscriptions (chatnexus.cloud).

1. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • You will retain full access to your paid plan features until that date.
  • No partial refunds are issued for unused days remaining in a billing period.
  • Your account automatically downgrades to the Free tier at the end of the billing period.

2. Refund Requests

We consider refunds on a case-by-case basis in the following circumstances:

  • Billing errors: if you were charged incorrectly (e.g., duplicate charge), contact us and we will issue a full refund of the erroneous amount.
  • Service issues: if a significant, prolonged service outage prevented you from using the platform during a paid period, a partial refund may be considered.

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the charge to be considered. Contact us at support@chatnexus.cloud with your account email and a description of the issue.

Refunds are not issued for:

  • Change of mind after a billing period has started.
  • Unused credits or messages within a billing period.
  • Forgetting to cancel before a renewal date.

3. Free Tier

ChatNexus offers a permanently free plan. No payment method is required to use the Free tier, and you will never be charged unless you explicitly choose a paid plan and provide payment details.

4. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are entitled to a remedy under the ACL, this policy does not affect those rights.

5. How to Cancel

  1. Log in to your ChatNexus account.
  2. Go to the Billing page.
  3. Click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe customer portal.
  4. Select Cancel plan in the Stripe portal and confirm.

You will receive a confirmation email from Stripe once your cancellation is processed.
