How AI usage works (in plain English)
Your plan fee covers ChatNexus itself and a monthly amount of AI chatting. Like a phone plan: stay inside the included amount and you only pay the plan fee.
- Messages count each bot reply. Credits are the fuel for that reply — simpler AI models use fewer credits; more powerful models use more.
- On paid plans, if you use up included credits you can either stop the bot or allow a little extra usage up to a monthly spending limit you control (for example $25 on Starter, $100 on Pro).
- Extra usage is added to your normal invoice. When your spending limit is reached, the bot stops — so there are no surprise runaway bills.
Example: Pro is $79/month and includes 15,000 credits. A standard model using about 3 credits per reply can send roughly 5,000 answers on that pool. A premium model using 25 credits per reply uses the same pool after about 600 answers — so for FAQ bots, standard models are usually the better value.
